Roger C. Rainville, 77, of Merrimack, New Hampshire, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, after a period of declining health.

He was born in Barton, Vermont, on August 19, 1948, to the late Roland Rainville and Hazel (Roy) Comeau.

Roger lived a life rich in friendship, family, and kindness. He found his greatest joy in time spent with those he loved, his loving partner, children, grandchildren, and the many friends he made wherever he went. A natural handyman, Roger was always ready to help, whether it meant fixing a broken toilet, painting a ceiling, or lending a steady hand wherever it was needed. Just as generous with his time as with his conversation, he loved to chat, laugh, and connect, forming friendships easily and genuinely. He was especially known among his Texas Roadhouse friends, where he always kept a seat warm and a story ready. Roger's warmth, helpful nature, and easy companionship left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Along with his parents, Roger was predeceased by his four brothers, Roland Rainville Jr., Edward, Norman, and Danny Comeau, and his sister, Kathy Comeau.

Roger is survived by his loving partner of 35 years, Lorrie Frosheiser; his two sons, Edward and Jason Rainville; his two daughters, Kristin Worster and her husband Philip, and Sheri Cady and her husband Bill; his eleven grandchildren, Josh, Brandon, Taylor, Ethan, Greg, and Ava Rainville, Megan Bolduc and her husband Josh, Bridget Worster, Bella and Emma Doucette, and Maeve Cady; his two great-grandchildren, Gage and Ayla Rainville; his brothers, Wayne Comeau and his wife Cathy, Scott Comeau and his wife Norma, and Richard and Rene Rainville; and his sister, Rachell Horton and her husband Phil.

Visitation will be held at Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, New Hampshire, on Tuesday January 27th, 2026, from 4 - 5 PM, with a memorial service to follow at 5:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Roger's memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
