Ron Emmons-Salvail,50, of Shreve, OH passed away Friday, February 3, 2023 at his home.

Ron was born November 13, 1972 in Nashua, New Hampshire and was the son of Betty-Jo and George A. Overton Jr. of New Hampshire and the son of Ronald Emmons of Millersburg, Ohio.

Ron was a 1990 graduate of Merrimack High School in New Hampshire. On September 17, 2005 he married Kimberly Ernst-Salvail and she preceded him in death on March 6, 2020.

Ron was the owner and operator of Emmons Towing of Millersburg, OH. He was a member of the Millersburg Eagles. Ron enjoyed fishing, boating and tubing.

He was preceded in death by his father; stepfather; maternal grandparents, Emma and Babe Salvail; and paternal grandparents, Betty and Sheldon Emmons.

He is survived by his mother, Betty-Jo Overton of Merrimack, New Hampshire; his brother and sister-in-law, George and Christina Overton III; three siblings of West Virginia; his niece, Emelia Overton; and many dear friends. He is also survived by his in-laws. Frank and Vicky Ernst of Millersburg. Ron leaves many family and good friends including his best friends, JB Barton and Toby Rice both of Millersburg.

A private graveside service will take place.

Alexander Funeral Home in Millersburg, OH assisted the family with arrangements.
