Ronald L. Cormier's Obituary
Ronald L. Cormier, 73, of Amherst, NH passed away on July 24th after a sudden illness. He leaves behind his wife of 51 years, Barbara (Niemi) Cormier. Also their 2 daughters Melissa Nelson and husband Carl of Glen, NH and Diane Summer of Framingham, MA, granddaughter Olivia Micalizzi, and sister Norma Mundie and husband Robert.
He was born in Leominster, MA on January 18, 1948, the son of Laurie and Jean Cormier.
Ron graduated from LHS in 1966 and Franklin Pierce College in Rindge, NH, proceeding on to a lifelong career in accounting. He was still employed as Controller at Palmer Gas in Atkinson, NH. It was a job he loved.
He enjoyed traveling, woodworking, barbecuing and cooking. He always had a smile, helpful attitude and a penchant for animals, especially dogs.
Ron will be sadly missed by his family and surely anyone he met.
There will be no calling hours or services. Memorial contributions in Ron's honor may be made to the American Cancer Society.
