Ronald A. Lavoie, 53, of Milford passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 27 ^th , 2018 at St.  Joseph Hospital.

Ron was born in Manchester, NH on August 17 ^th , 1965 to Lucille (Forest) Lavoie and the late Edmond G. Lavoie who passed away on January 25 ^th , 2017.  Ron was raised in Merrimack and was a 1984 graduate of Merrimack High School.

A hockey player since he was 7 years old, Ron played for the Manchester 40+ Men's League and also coached for a few years.  He loved the outdoors and was an avid snowmobiler and enjoyed 4-wheeling, camping, hiking and kayaking.  Ron was the owner of R & L Graphics in Milford and loved having his Standard Poodle "Charlie" at his side.   Ron adored spending time with his family, playing cards with friends, and would light up a room with his legendary laugh that could be heard even amidst a noisy crowd.

Along with his mother, Lucille, Ron is survived by five siblings, Roger Lavoie and his wife Kathy, Susan Payne and her husband Marc, Ray Lavoie and his wife Trisha, Joanne Bilodeau and her husband Richard, Karen Sorvillo and her husband Mike; and his fiancée April Stec and her three children, Lauren, Hannah and Ryan; seven nieces and nephews, and 2 great-nephews.

Memorial calling hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack on Sunday, January 6 ^th , 2019 from 2 - 5:00 PM, with a service immediately following, to be held in the chapel of the funeral home.  Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
