Salvatore A.
Piccolo
January 14, 1953 – December 10, 2023
It is with great sadness we announce that Salvatore "Sal" A. Piccolo, 70, of Nashua, NH passed away on Sunday, December 10th, 2023 peacefully at his home.
He was born in Stoneham, MA on January 14th, 1953 to the late Antonio and Josephine (Merenda) Piccolo. Raised in Everett, MA, he was a graduate of Everett High School but lived in New Hampshire for many years.
Sal's biggest love in his life was his family including his four sons. He always stated "I live for you boys" and did his best to provide for them and guide them and show them happiness and believe in their dreams. Sal lived a life with many adventures. Sal enjoyed attending classic car shows and loved hot rods and muscle cars. He spent many years enjoying his time at New England Dragway watching drag racing, enjoyed dancing and karaoke with his friends. His love for music passed down to all of his kids whether directly or indirectly and has been a big piece of their lives. He shared his love for the music of Boston and singer Brad Delp who was a huge influence on him. Sal loved singing and playing the keyboard for his family. In his younger years, Sal was famous for playing the accordion in many bands. Sal also loved spending time with his sisters, his cousins, his nieces and nephews, his friends and his grandchildren. He enjoyed watching football and movies of all genres with his family. He enjoyed comedy and sharing inside jokes frequently with anyone in his presence. Sal's smile was contagious and lit up any room. His humor was larger than life which was shared with others with his Three Stooges energy. His love and legacy are eternal, and we are forever grateful.
Along with his parents, Sal was pre-deceased by an infant grandson, Jackson Piccolo in 2010.
He will be forever loved and missed by his four sons, Brian Piccolo and his wife Lisa of Merrimack, Mike Piccolo and his girlfriend Marina Belanger of Hudson, Joe Piccolo and his wife Amanda of Merrimack and Chris and his wife Athena of Merrimack; mother of his children and best friend, Carla Piccolo. He loved and cherished his time with his seven grandchildren, Quinten, Isabella, Kaylee, Joey, Landon, Angelina and Bennett; three sisters, Maryann and her husband Kenny Powers of Bonita Springs, FL, Antonette and her husband Rich Russell of Tewksbury, MA and Anita and her husband Steve Munoz of Silver Lake, NH along with several nieces and nephews.
Memorial visitation hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack on Sunday, December 17th, 2023 from 12 – 3 PM. A service will follow at 3 PM in the funeral home chapel.
All are invited to celebrate his life for a Sunday dinner at John O' Leary Adult Community Center at 4 Church St in Merrimack, NH immediately following services.
For those who would like to make a memorial donation in Sal's name, you may do so to the American Heart Association.
