Scott A. Brody, 60, of Derry, NH, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 3, 2024.
Born on May 17, 1963, in Frankfurt, Germany, Scott was the cherished son of the late Samuel and Ruth (Ingersoll) Brody and grew up as one of four children. Raised in Nashua, NH, he was a graduate of Nashua High School and furthered his education at Manchester technical school specializing in electrical studies. Scott dedicated many years of service as a lineman for Public Service of New Hampshire (PSNH), retiring in 2007.
Scott's life was characterized by his love for his friends and family, he was an avid New England Patriots fan, cherished member of the VFW in Derry, had a passion for charitable causes, and his enjoyment of golf and cooking. His presence brought warmth and joy to every gathering, and his generosity knew no bounds.
Predeceased by his parents and his sister Valerie Brody in 2019, Scott's legacy will be carried on by his loving daughters, Tonya and Danielle Brody, and her husband, Keith Rondeau; his adored grandson, Brody Rondeau; his devoted sisters, Linda, and her husband, Denis Gallant, and Grace, and her husband, Peter Kobzik and a special bond and lifelong friendship with Cheryl Brody. His memory will also be cherished by many friends whose lives he touched.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Scott's honor at Our Lady of Mercy, 16 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack, NH, on Friday, February 16, 2024, at 10:30 AM. The service will be followed by burial in the family plot at Last Rest Cemetery.
In Scott's memory, and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. This gesture will serve to continue his legacy of kindness and support for those in need.
Scott's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his spirit will forever remain in the lives of his family and friends.
