Sheila J. Hutchinson, 86, residing at The Arbors of Bedford passed away peacefully and suddenly due to complications of Covid-19 on December 29 ^th , 2020 surrounded by her three children. She was married for 60 years to her "best friend" Thomas Hutchinson who passed away on May 24 ^th , 2013. Prior to living in Bedford, she was a resident of Merrimack for 42 years.

Sheila was born in New York City, on December 16 ^th , 1934 to the late John and Julia (Correll) Cusack.

Before retiring she worked in sales for many years for Jordan Marsh and Macy's in Bedford. Sheila was a long-time parishioner at Our Lady of Mercy in Merrimack and enjoyed being a greeter on Sunday mornings. She also loved delivering Meals on Wheels with her husband Thomas for many years and continued on after his passing until she no longer was able to do so. She became friends with many of those whom she delivered meals to. Her compassion for others and her desire to help those in need was evident to all who knew her.  Sheila loved the many years spent at the summer vacation home on Lovell Lake in Sanbornville, NH as well as winters with her husband in Hilton Head, SC. Sheila enjoyed taking trips with the Merrimack Senior Group, was an avid walker and participated in many exercise and yoga classes around the community. But above all, her greatest joy was being a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Spending time with her family was always a priority. Sheila made the most of every visit and did so much to create the wonderful memories that her loved ones will always cherish.

She will be forever loved and remembered by her three children, Linda Mahaney and her husband Jim of Wells, ME, Laura Smith and her husband David of Strafford, NH, and Tom Hutchinson and his wife Tammy of Windham, NH; 2 granddaughters; Nicole Smith West and her husband Robbie of Strafford NH, Brooke Smith of Strafford, NH; 1 great-grandson Hayden Thomas West.

Sheila will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 16 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack on Monday, May 24 ^th , 2021 at 10:30 AM. Burial will be at the NH State Veteran's Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen on May 24 ^th at 1 PM, where she will be forever reunited with the love of her life.
