Stephen Douglas Gray passed away on August 25th, 2021 at his home in Merrimack, New Hampshire. He was born on April 12th, 1950 in Reading, Massachusetts to Joseph and Jean Gray.
Stephen enlisted in the army in 1969 and served in the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged in 1973. Stephen retired from the Boston Carpenters Union where he worked most of his life as a pile driver. Stephen was a proud veteran and supported any military cause. He enjoyed spending time with his family and attending auctions. He was an avid collector. Anyone who knew Stephen had a story to tell about him. He was always up for a good prank and loved to make people laugh. Stephen was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Stephen was predeceased by his father, Joseph Gray at a very young age. His mother, Jean Stephen also predeceased, later married James Stephen who helped raise Stephen as his own. Stephen leaves behind two daughters, Samantha Krook and husband Brycen Krook, Julie Pyhala and husband Aaron Pyhala, two grandsons Hudson and Roman Pyhala. Long time companion, Linda Chase. Two brothers, Dana Gray and wife Chris Gray, Lee Stephen and wife Barbara Stephen. Three sisters, Bonnie Swiderek and husband Mark Swiderek, Kathi Stephen, Heather Lowther and husband Jim Lowther and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held at the Boscawen Veterans Cemetery.
