Taryn S.
Lee
January 2, 1978 – May 4, 2025
Taryn Serene Lee, 47, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and inspiration to many, sadly passed away on May 4th, 2025, after battling months of recent health challenges. Taryn had a severe form of cerebral palsy all her life, but she faced everything with a strength and spirit that inspired everyone who had the opportunity to know her. She was a fighter who defied all odds and outlived every expectation.
Though she was unable to speak, Taryn had her own unique voice that resonated deeply in the hearts of her family, friends, and caregivers through her spirit and actions. Her radiant smile could light up a room, and her unmistakable opinions made her presence known and cherished. She was a force of nature—tenacious, energetic, and full of life.
Taryn's days were filled with activities and relationships. She especially enjoyed long car rides to visit family in Maryland, New Jersey, and New York City. She loved music and all kinds of noise-making toys that she could play on her own. The day programs at the Nashua Center brought her joy and wonderful connections. The staff and caregivers at the Nashua Center became extended family to Taryn, offering her love, dignity, and a place to thrive.
Taryn was predeceased by her devoted father, Daniel Lee. She is survived by her dedicated mother, Sharon Lee; her sister Heather and brother-in-law Will (Wills, Colby); and her brother Jeffrey and sister-in-law Laurie (Cambria, Avery, Carys, Eliana). Taryn's family was the cornerstone of her remarkable life, their unwavering love and care helping her to live many more years than anyone ever predicted.
Taryn's legacy is one of delight and resilience. She taught those around her about unconditional love, the power of steadfast support from family & caregivers, and the power of a radiant smile.
Visitation hours will be held at First Church of Merrimack, 7 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack NH on Saturday, May 10th, 2025 from 2:00 – 2:30 PM with funeral services to follow at 2:30 PM.
