Thomas Arthur Dorris, 79, of Merrimack, NH passed away on Wednesday, March 26th, 2025 at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home in Goffstown, NH after a period of declining health.

He was born in Lowell, MA on August 5th, 1945, son of the late Thomas F. and Rita (Lavoie) Dorris. Raised in Lowell, he was a graduate of Lowell High School in 1963.

Tom enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served from 1966 to 1970 when he received his honorable discharge. He worked for various companies including BAE Systems as a shipper & receiver over the years.

In his free time, he enjoyed gardening, music from the 1940's to the 1960's and in his youth was involved with roller skating dances and competitions back in the 1960's.

He will be forever loved and remembered by his wife of 52 years, Ann (Lindley) Dorris and his daughter, Tammy Dorris.

Visitation will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack NH on Friday, April 4th from 10 - 11 AM with a service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 11 AM. Burial with military honors will be held in Last Rest Cemetery.
