With profound faith in the promise of eternal life, we share the passing of Thomas Warguska, of Amherst, New Hampshire, who entered God’s loving embrace on Friday, May 1st, 2026, at home surrounded by family. While his absence leaves a deep and tender sorrow, Tom’s family takes comfort in knowing that he now rests in the peace of Christ, whom he served faithfully through a life of love, compassion, and quiet devotion.
Born May 7, 1949, in Suffern, NY, Tom was the son of the late Andrew and Kathleen (Brown) Warguska. A proud veteran of the United States Navy, he pursued higher education during his military service, ultimately earning his doctorate in dentistry.
After completing his service, Tom and his beloved wife, Adriane, made Amherst their home, where they raised their family and built deep roots in the community. Tom opened a dental practice in Merrimack, NH, where he was known not only for his skill and dedication, but for the kindness and respect he showed every patient.
A devout Catholic, Tom lived his faith through quiet service. He volunteered at the local soup kitchen and was a strong advocate for the dignity of all human life. His beliefs guided his actions, his family life, and the compassion he showed others.
Above all, Tom was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather. He found joy in time spent with his family, on the golf course, and in moments of reflection and prayer.
He was predeceased by his parents and his sister‑in‑law, Kathleen Warguska. He is survived by his wife, Adriane (McPherson) Warguska; his son, Justin Warguska; his daughters, Caitlyn Warguska and Alexis Fournier and her husband Nick; his grandchildren, Austin and Dallas Kehoe and Addy Fournier; his brother, Jamie Warguska; and his sister, Andrea Abnathy and her husband Lane.
Visitation will be held at Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, on Thursday, May 7th from 5pm to 7pm followed by a memorial service in the funeral home chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions may be in Tom’s memory to a charity of your choosing, reflecting his faith and commitment to serving others, honoring a life lived in accordance with Christ’s call to love one another.
