Viola L. Snyder passed away on April 8, 2024 at Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH following a period of declining health. She was born on September 30,1934 in Bethlehem, PA to Charles and Hazel (Morissey) Leibensperger.

Viola graduated from Liberty High School and enjoyed a successful career at the Bethlehem Steel, from which she retired in 1998. In her retirement, she relocated to New Hampshire with her daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren.

Viola was a long-time congregant of Community Chapel in Nashua, NH, and had an unshakable faith which provided her comfort throughout her life.

Viola was predeceased by her beloved son, John Snyder Jr., her parents, and her sisters, Nancy and Lorraine. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Troy Aarthun of Merrimack; her grandchildren, Adrianna (Allison) Wheelock, John Wolfe, and Annaliese Aarthun; and her great-grandson, Raven Wheelock.

The family wishes to thank the staff of The Villager Retirement Home and Community Hospice House for their compassionate care at the end of Viola's life.
