Virginia Marie Valluzzi

Virginia M. Valluzzi, 82, of Milford, NH, and a former longtime resident of Merrimack, NH, passed away peacefully on Friday, Aug. 28, 2026, at Langdon Place in Nashua after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Born in Englewood, NJ, on March 12th, 1944, Virginia was the beloved daughter of the late Samuel K. and Virginia M. (Crawford) McHenry. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Daniel Valluzzi, who died in 2018.

Virginia’s greatest joy was her family, and she loved them with deep, unwavering devotion. Her eight grandchildren were truly her pride and joy, and she found so much happiness in being part of their lives. She loved knitting hats and scarves for family and friends, and she especially treasured making blankets for every new baby welcomed into the family. She also loved baking, and her Christmas cookies became a cherished family tradition that brought everyone together year after year.

Before retiring, Virginia built a career marked by dedication and hard work, first with Jordan Marsh and then Macy’s in Human Resources, before finishing her career as Circulation Manager at Bloomberg Financial.

Virginia will be lovingly remembered by her three sons, Daniel Valluzzi and his wife, Kendra, James Valluzzi and his wife, Kelly, and Jeffrey Valluzzi and his wife, Ali Keller, all of Merrimack; her eight grandchildren, Jacob, Domenic, Kayla, Caroline, Julia, Emma, Matthew, and Christopher; her great-grandchild, Mia; her sister, Sheridan McHenry; her brother, Samuel McHenry and his wife, Marion; as well as several nieces and nephews.

There are no calling hours. Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
