Wallace "Wally" H. Ross, 78, of Nashua, NH passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 24th, 2024 surrounded by loved ones at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack after a period of declining health.

Wally was born in Temple, TX on May 29th, 1945, the only child to the late Bruce C. and Mary (Bakke) Ross. He was raised in Fayetteville, NY, but also spent time in Texas with family. He graduated from the Berkshire School in Sheffield, MA, and went on to receive his Bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri. He also received his Master's degree from Rivier University.

Wally proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1969 to 1984, when he was honorably discharged. He then went on to work for Digital, Compaq and HP until he retired. In retirement, he was heavily involved in the NH Vet-to-Vet Organization. Wally loved spending time with friends and family, reading, playing chess, listening to music, skiing, and he could always be found cheering on the sidelines of his children's soccer games.

He will be forever loved and remembered by his two children, Robert Ross, and Courtney with her husband Keith Levesque, all of Nashua, along with many close friends.

Calling hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack NH on Tuesday, April 30th, 2024 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM with a service to follow at 7:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May, 2nd at the NH Veteran's Cemetery in Boscawen.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Manchester, NH Veteran's Association.
