Weston "Sam" Warriner, 79, a lifelong resident of Merrimack (Reed's Ferry), NH passed away on Tuesday December 31st, 2024, at the community hospice house in Merrimack after a period of declining health.
He was born in Nashua, NH on January 5th, 1945, a son of the late Theodore E. and Anna L. (Stevens) Warriner.
Sam attended Merrimack schools and worked many years as a custodian for both the Merrimack School District and the Nashua Country Club.
Sam loved his family and friends as well as flowers, plants and working in the garden. He had a very green thumb. He also loved food of all kinds and believed in quantity over quality, the more the better! Sam also had a passion for old hymns and loved country music. He was loving, kind, and a joker at times. He loved his old neighborhood known as "Reed's Ferry" and knew everyone on his street. Sam had many found childhood memories with his community and always held his childhood friends dear to his heart.
In addition to his parents, Sam is predeceased by his two brothers, Theodore "David" Warriner who passed in 2003, and Robert "Bobby" Warriner who passed in 2009; and a special brother-in-law, Norman J Morin who passed in 2012.
Members of his surviving family include his sister Linda Dillon – Morin of Merrimack; two nieces, Anna Dillon and Justin Landry of Francestown, NH, and Donna and Jack Denver of Merrimack; two nephews, Theodore "Ted" and Kelly Dillon, and Scott and Ami Dillon, both of Merrimack; as well as several great and great – great nieces and nephews.
Per the family's request, calling hours will not be held. A graveside service will be held in the spring and announced at a later date.
