William J. Brickley, Sr., 80, of Bedford passed away at his home on Wednesday July 1 ^st , 2020 unexpectedly.

He was born in Everett, MA on December 16 ^th , 1939 to the late William J. and Catherine (Mulligan) Brickley. He was raised in Everett and graduated from Everett High School and attended classes at Suffolk University for 2 years.

William worked as a self-employed stress councilor for many years. In his free time, he was an avid reader and at one time wrote a book. He also enjoyed golfing, weightlifting and physical fitness was a part of who he was. Most of all, William loved spending time with his family and vacationing in either Ogunquit, ME or in the White Mountains of NH.

Along with his parents, he was pre-deceased by his brother Robert Brickley in 1974.

He will be forever remembered by his loving wife of 60 years, Marilyn (Kerrins) Brickley; four children, William Brickley, Jr. and his wife Diane, Marc Brickley and his wife Terrie, Eric Brickley and his wife Hilary, and Kristine Brickley; nine grandchildren, Kayleigh Robinson, Joshua Brickley, Mariah Brickley, Noah Brickley, Cameron Brickley, Ryan Lowe, Sean Brickley, Jack Brickley, and Mallory Brickley; three great-granddaughters, Isabelle, Sophia and Olivia Robinson; a sister, Barbara Hood, along with several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects  on Tuesday, July 7th from 5 – 7 PM at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack. Due to state regulations, the facility is limited to 50 people in the building at one time and masks are required before entering. A service will be held for the immediate family following the end of calling hours.
