Arthur F. Hooker's Obituary
Arthur Fredrick Hooker, 87, of Merrimack, passed away June 26th 2015 after a long illness. Born on Dec 29th, 1927 in Avon, MA, Arthur was the oldest son of the late Ralph and Doris (Donovan) Hooker.
He built his business, Merrimack Bicycle Shop and raised his family with his late wife Theresa (Cote) Hooker in the town of Merrimack, where they lived for 45 years.
Arthur enjoyed airplane and car shows with his brother Walter Hooker. He also enjoyed woodworking and day trips around the state of NH which he loved.
He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
Arthur is survived by his children Pamela Dussault of Concord, Arthur J Hooker of Nashua and step children Linda Gately of Bridgewater MA, Phillip Hayes of Torrence, CA and Patrick Hayes of Worrenton, OR; 13 grand children; 6 great grand children, and his brother Walter Hooker of Everett, MA.
Per his wishes there will be a small interment ceremony at Last Rest Cemetery located at the corner of Hillside Terrace and Baboosic Lake Rd (7 Hillside Terrace) in Merrimack, NH on Thursday Aug 13th, 2015 at 11 am. This ceremony is open for all friends and family that wish to attend.
